I’m sharing a fun travel care package idea featuring BROOKSIDE Crunchy Clusters as part of a sponsored post for Socialstars #DISCOVERBROOKSIDE. All opinions are 100% mine.
Guess who is in town? My mom!! She flew in last Wednesday for a 10 day visit and I am one happy camper. I recruited her help with some organizing, cooking and, well, some good ole’ fashion mom and daughter time {smile}. So, I decided to put together a Travel Care Package with a few essentials that I knew she would enjoy having while she was here… and even if she didn’t, she had them to take home with her.
I know a few things that my mom would consider travel essentials, so I took a quick trip to the store…and picked up this mini suitcase too (at Target).
Let’s take a closer look, shall we? Tissues are lifesavers on many occasions — and nail polish is a no-brainer for my mom, she loves to paint her nails. Lip balm is another favorite and is always tucked into her pocket or purse. A new fave for me is the Pomegranate Raspberry flavored EOS – however, I think they’re all yummy {wink}. With hand sanitizer, you often like to keep lotion on hand too. Done!
Last but not least, a yummy snack. I wanted to give her something she might not have tried before and recently discovered BROOKSIDE Crunchy Clusters. Oh my goodness, yum! I loved that they have a perfect blend of crispy multigrains, fruit-flavored centers and dark chocolate! I’ll clue you in on a little secret, they’re slightly addictive {hee-hee}.
To add a more personal touch to the care package, I added a travel themed gift tag. It’s a map gift tag with the message, “You mean the world to me!” It seemed to fit the bill considering her travels and how she really does mean the world to me!

If you’re interested in creating something similar for friends and family who love to travel or house guests, I’m offering the map gift tags as a printable for you! Simply print them off, cut, add reinforcement stickers and twine.

You are so good at making Care Packages! 🙂 I still remember the excitement of when I got a pkg from you. 🙂 When I lived across the country from my sisters I used to send them “just because” packages. I should do this again.

Kelly,
I love the little “travel kit.” Where did you find that wonderful case? Is it a repurposed lunch box or what?
It’s adorable.
Thanks,
