This past Saturday we spent some time by the pool and for dinner we grilled out — we finally had a day where it wasn’t so miserably hot that we could also enjoy eating on the deck.  I’m afraid it hasn’t had much use this summer.  The chicken skewers and corn were deel-ish.  Nice weather, grilling out and eating on the deck — muy perfecto!!

I also decided to try a Sandra Lee recipe for Strawberry Sandies. They were good, but I’m afraid they were a bit sweet for me (Steve seemed to agree).  However, I loved the pink cookie idea. I’m such a girl 🙂   I would definetely make them again, but for an occasion and/or company.  They look pretty yummy, eh?

keep living and laughing, friends.
