Happy Friday!
Happy July 4th too!
Today I’m revisiting one of my all-time favorite DIY material — pallet wood! I’m a sucker for a good pallet project. I recently share 25+ Fabulous Pallet Projects and it’s been a popular post, so I’m fairly certain I’m not alone in my love for pallet wood!
If you saw my Summer Home Tour — you might have seen already seen my Simple Pallet Wall Art.
I wanted a very simple pallet arrow below my subway art. So, the hubs helped me cut it. I added a couple of painted arrows using painters tape and white acrylic paint — and ended with a little sanding. It was the perfect addition to this wall, don’t you think? Simple and inexpensive!
Are you familiar with Hometalk? I had the privilege of being introduced to this website at BlogHer 2012. If you’re not familiar with it, let me give you a brief introduction. It’s a fantastic website that allows you to share your own projects and/or browse hundreds of thousands of fabulous photos, project ideas, and tips posted by homeowners, renters and pros! It’s a fantastic resource, friends.
A fun feature of the website is that you can ‘clip’ projects to a board so that you can keep a themed project in one place. Soooo, I decided to curate a board of pallet projects that caught my eye — and they won’t break the bank! You can thank me later… {wink}.
Check out my 17 Fantastic Pallet Project Board!
From a Pallet Wall Clock to a Pallet Planter box,
you’re sure to be inspired! And it’s all in one place for
you with thumbnails and all. Pretty cool, right?
If you’re not a member of Hometalk, I hope you’ll join
the fun. Be sure to follow live laugh rowe over there too!
Care to stay in the loop? I’d love to have you!
Catch me snapping + sharing pictures over on Instagram.

I’m really loving the simplicity of this! It looks like several pieces of wood rather than one that’s painted. Love it! Featuring it at tonight’s Wednesday Whatsits link party 🙂
