Healthy Resolutions.  There’s no better time than the New Year to put our best foot forward in trying to swap out some bad habits for some good ones.  I love to snack and rather than reaching for the potato chips and ice cream, how about a Simple Homemade Trail Mix?  I love trail mixes.  The sweet, salty and crunchiness.  The best part of this trail mix is the new Dove® Whole Fruit Dipped in Chocolate…  Oh my yummy goodness.

A simple homemade trail mix that you can whip up and take along for snacking! Dark chocolate, dried fruit and more! www.livelaughrowe.com

A simple homemade trail mix that you can whip up and take along for snacking!  Dark chocolate, dried fruit and more!  www.livelaughrowe.comHave you ever seen the movie, “The Mirror Has Two Faces” with Barbara Streisand and Jeff Bridges.  There is a scene about the “perfect bite.”  I’ll never forget that scene, as it is one of my favorites.  The entire time I was munching on my homemade trail mix, I was sure to have a little of everything (the peanuts, almonds, Cheerios, pretzels and Dove® Fruit Covered Chocolate) to ensure I had the perfect bite.  It was delicious and had the perfect mixture of what I expected.  Am I a little crazy?  Probably.  Watch the movie!!  {giggle}

Anywho, I love Dove® Dark Chocolate and having the option of whole pieces of fruit dipped in their delectable dark chocolate, well, I’m tickled silly.  Available in three varieties of real, whole fruit – cranberry, cherry and blueberry.

I used the cranberries in my trail mix — and it was the perfect snack to keep on-hand while working!
