Fall is almost here {squeal}! I am so excited. Before you know it, we’ll be warming up to soups and thinking about all things pumpkin! Remember earlier this year when I mentioned that I’ve teamed with the Home Depot to co-host four Do-It-Herself (DIH) Workshops? My next one is in September and it’s in the Milwaukee area. Woo-hoo!
So, who’s ready to get some hands-on experience with some simple fall décor? I love that these DIH Workshops empower women (just like you and me) to tackle DIY projects and more!
How about adding a little extra charm and serving space with this DIH Workshop Rustic Pumpkin Stand (pictured above)? Did someone say rustic? Yes, please! I’m super excited about this one and my wheels are turning on how I can customize it to fit my needs.
Grab your girlfriends and clear you calendar for the third Thursday of September for The Home Depot’s DIH Workshop. This interactive, demonstration-style Workshop is a great opportunity to pick up tips and advice from the pros for all of your home improvement projects. It’s time to get hands-on and make something!
The September DIH Workshop will take place at your local The Home Depot store on Thursday, September 17th from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. and as I mentioned earlier, we’ll be demonstrating how to build the Rustic Pumpkin Stand. Be sure to register online TODAY! I’m super excited to be co-hosting the September workshop at the Waukesha, Wisconsin store located at:
Home Depot (Store #4918)
2320 W Bluemound Rd,
Waukesha, WI 53186
Not in the Milwaukee area? No worries, DIH Workshops are held monthly at all The Home Depot store locations. Want to learn more? Register online today to attend this month’s workshop at a Home Depot near YOU! I hope you can join us.

I’ve built one for the DIH in our store (0641) already…wish I could send you a pic. I wrapped the stem in green jute and stenciled “AUTUMN” on the box. Then using florist foam, filled the box with faux flowers, apples and mini pumpkins. So cute.

This is so cute! Does the workshop just show you how to make it on your own, or do you get to make it right there at the workshop?
Kelly Rowe says
Hi Amanda. Every store operates the workshops differently, so it’s best that you call your local Home Depot to inquire. Hope that helps. Hugs!
