I have always enjoyed learning new words — including those you would most likely never use in your day to day vocabulary, but enchant you for just a brief moment.  At times, I’ve even received daily e-mails with words and their meanings.  It was always a fun read, and my sister has even challenged herself to use those words in a sentence atleast once during the day.

I watched a movie yesterday that one of the characters obviously found the same delight; however, enjoyed writing them in random places for others to find and spark a little curiousity (and a trip to the local bookstore).  Smile.  I think most would consider this vandalism, but in the movie it was super cute.  Anywho, I won’t say what the movie is in order to leave a little mystery to this blog, and hopefully put your investigative instincts into action.  I LOVED the movie.

For your reading pleasure, I’ve included the meaning of these two words:

quidnunc [kwid’nuhngk]
n: a person who is eager to know the latest news and gossip; a gossip or busybody.

poppysmic [pa’pee’smik]
n: the sound produced by smacking one’s lips

keep living and laughing, friends.

I too loved the movie. I thought it first it was going to just be a romantic comedy which it was much much more I lost my wife three years ago so a lot really spoke to my heart thank you for putting the two words on this site.

Love Happens is the movie. Jennifer Aniston wrote the word behind a picture and Aaron Eckhart found the word. Great use of words throughout, and a funny movie.
