Who loves pulling together some Creative Gift Wrap? ME! Anyone else? I also enjoy making printables. I originally shared this project over at The 36th Avenue last year, but decided it was time to share these printable pennants with all of you. Floral pennants for the win, especially with spring knocking on our door (wink).
I’ll let you in on a little secret, I love giving gifts and I enjoy wrapping them. Sometimes we think gift giving has to be extravagant. The good news is that it doesn’t have to be! Sometimes the little things have a big impact too. Give a co-worker their favorite snack, your neighbor a journal, etc. Wouldn’t this packaging make you smile?
I’m also quite fond of kraft paper, kraft bags, etc. So, I thought I would incorporate the two and add a printable pennant for your use. I hope you can put this to good use {smile}.
Supplies for pictured Creative Gift Wrap:
Kraft Bags (7 1/2 x 10 1/2″)
Paper Doilies
Floral Pennants, download below
Hole Puncher
Twine or String
Scissors
Gift Tag, optional
First things first, you’ll want to print and cut the pennants. Use the printable ones below or cut out your own from scrapbook paper.
Next, choose your pennant and paper doily.
Insert gift into bag and fold the top of the bag over, approximately 1/2″. Place your pennant on your bag and line up with the fold of your bag and add your paper doily, folding at the center and placing over your bag.
You’ll then punch two holes and tie a bow with twine or string.
Add a gift tag if you’d like and you’re done! Mix and match the pennants with different color doilies and string!
BONUS IDEA! Print off these pennants, punch holes in either side and string together with twine to make a super shabby chic banner!
