An all time favorite snack of mine is Kozy Shack® Rice Pudding!  I guess you could say that my dad got me hooked — he’s been snacking on it for YEARS.  I love to enjoy my rice pudding with a dollop of whip cream; however, I recently decided to try my hand at making a Praline Sauce recipe and poured a wee-bit of it over my rice pudding.  Oh. my. goodness!

Praline Sauce Recipe

Servings: 3 servings

Prevent your screen from going to sleep

Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 tbsp butter
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/3 cup whole milk
  • 3/4 cup toasted pecan pieces

Instructions

  • Melt butter over low heat with vanilla in small saucepan.
  • Whisking constantly, add brown sugar and milk, bringing to a boil.
  • Continue to whisk, cooking for 5 minutes or until sauce begins to thicken and darken in color.
  • Remove from heat, stir in pecans and spoon over warm rice pudding or ice cream.

    been on a diet, but by Christmas all these recipes are going to be taste tested, I thought this would also be good on sweet potato pie, the possibilities are endless, thanks Never tried KozyShack, but it’s now on my to try list.

    I make a maple butter syrup sauce that I put on lots of things and I know this will be something I would love too.

    I absolutely love rice pudding…so this a must try. I’ve never really thought about a topping like a Praline Sauce. I’ve always just put cool whip and thought that was great! lol. Thanks for sharing Kelly.
