Last month, I partnered with The Home Depot on a fun project — a living room holiday makeover. While it’s a little later (and after the fact), I still wanted to share a sneak peek with all of you. Since there’s no tree, I guess you could think of it as a festive room with a winter twist (wink).
Sneak Peek: Holiday Living Room Makeover
What Steve and I did was probably a little cRaZy … amidst the hustle and bustle of the holidays, giving our living room a little makeover was a wee-bit stressful. While I’m sure the timing wasn’t ideal, we needed a new sofa and I wasn’t in love with the open concept of our tv console. Seem more pics and details on The Home Depot blog!
So we shopped around The Home Depot — and they didn’t disappoint! Have you ever shopped for furniture on their website? Hundreds to thousands of pieces from rugs to furniture to decorative pieces and so much more.
Friends, I am so in love with the beautiful space we created. Keeping it simple, functional and cozy was our goal. Cozy was somewhat of a necessity for me. I always want family and friends to feel at home.
One of my favorite things about the pieces we chose is that they are versatile – they could be used in modern farmhouse, boho and even a retro space. My husband can get frustrated when I want to change things out, but these pieces have a lot of versatility. BOOM! For example, we used a buffet for our tv console in this makeover.
