I wanted to share some of my this years fall decorating pieces with you.   I love-love-love decorating this time of year, and I enjoy spicing things up every once in awhile by changing things up and/or adding a few additional pieces. I get a lot of  inspiration my from store catalogs such as Pottery Barn, Crate and Barrel and other magazines like Better Homes and Gardens.  I also enjoy walking through some of these stores as they always have INCREDIBLE displays.  Pinterest takes inspiration to a whole new level {giggle}.  Where do you get your decorating ideas and inspiration?

Fall Decor Layering Ideas with livelaughrowe.com

Anywho, here’s a brief picture tour of some of the fall decor throughout my home using layers.  I hope you find some inspiration and a greater love for this spectacular season we love so much.

Fall Decor using layers with livelaughrowe.comOn the left, I used the Barley Pedestal and placed a plate on top of it with candles and leaves, sprinkled with acorns!  On the right, this piece is inspired by Pottery Barn, and can be found in this Fall Decorating post.

Create Fall Decor with layers. Visit with livelaughrowe.comI love this tall glass vase filled with dried leaves, pine cones, and dried oranges.   A couple of faux branches with leaves seem to finish the piece off perfectly — I’ve since added a couple of small branches to add a little more dimension.  To the right, why not place a candle on a plate and surround it with some natural (or faux) elements as well?  Simplistic yet seasonally appropriate.

Something as simple as placing Indian Corn in large flat basket is beautiful. Fall Decor with livelaughrowe.comLast but not least, I love piling Indian Corn in a basket.  It’s perfectly festive and adds some extra pops of color!  Indian corn is also salvagable, so you can use it year after year.

How would you describe your fall decor?
Do you layer items to create the perfect pieces?

Great ideas and beautiful photos! I'd like to use some of these as resources on my blog, if that's OK… Question: are these found objects (the pinecones, acorns, etc.) or are you finding these at a market?
