The last couple of weeks, I’ve been playing around a lot with ‘felt’ — it’s so much fun (and easy) to get crafty with.  Since I’m currently not working, I thought I would make some ornaments/gift ornaments and set up an Etsy store to make a few extra dollars before the holidays.  Here’s a few items I made up to this point:

Felt Camera Ornaments
Felt Snowflake OrnamentsIvory and Green Felt Owl

Pretty cute, right?  I hope to have a few more items soon…  but these would make great teacher gifts, gift ornaments on craft paper packages, or a special homemade touch to your tree.  The cameras are great to gift to those photographers in your lives.  If anything, share the site with your friends and family.  To celebrate the shops grand opening, I am offering a 10% discount to my readers, just use promo bloglove at checkout.
I just opened House 129 last week, so it’s a brand new venture.  However, last Thursday I was pleasantly surprised to be chosen for a “Sneak Attack” and received a number of surprise orders {yay!}  MsBittyKnacks, the coordinator of this Etsy group, described it perfectly by saying,   What is a Sneak Attack?  It’s a way to support independent artisans who are trying to sell their wares online. Two days a week at an appointed time, an Etsy shop with few or no sales is announced. As many people as possible then buy items from that shop, resulting in a frenzy of surprise business to the unsuspecting shop! Honestly?  What a fabulous and selfless idea!!!
