I trust each of you had a blessed Thanksgiving. Ours was quiet, peaceful and full of tradition. It starts by waking up early and getting the food preparation started (although I did start some prep on Wednesday night). A must is turning on the Macy’s day parade — and squeezing in some time to read the newspaper, even if 99% of it is Black Friday ads. A veggie tray always starts the eating journey off late morning/early afternoon. Then mid to late afternoon, the feasting begins.
As much as I love the Thanksgiving holiday — it would be so much better if I could be with my entire family; however, I can’t even remember the last time we were all together for Thanksgiving. Growing up kinda sucks {smile}.
Kristine joined Steve and I for dinner. I made a feast — turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, corn, coleslaw, rolls, pumpkin pies. Kristine brought a green bean casserole and a cottage cheese jello salad. We had enough food to feed an army. Literally. It was a great day.

It was a GREAT Thanksgiving.
