If you’ve been around here awhile, you might know that I absoutely love-love-love making printables. I thought it might be fun to share a little more of the creative process with you in coming up with these Give Thanks Printable Place Cards.
As I’m sure many of you enjoy them — a lot of work goes into them. First you have to come up with an idea, I’m not one to sketch printables out, but I usually have a specific visual in mind. That’s when you have to find the right fonts and clip art. That can be pretty darn time consuming.

As I mentioned above — after coming up with an idea, it’s time to do a little searching for graphics or clipart (if you’re using them). Have you heard of Storyblocks? It’s a clipart and stock photo resource. A site packed with high-quality, royalty-free photos, vectors, illustrations and other design elements. After doing a little browsing, I decided to use an element or two from this set of clipart (see below)! These are a little more unconventional than the ordinary Thanksgiving place cards — no laurels, leaves or turkeys {wink}. I enjoyed using neutrals and incorporating pops of color (burgundy and orange) in the flowers.
I picked these flowers to complete the look of these unconventional Thanksgiving place cards (available for download at end of post).
