Farmhouse style has taken homes by a storm over the past couple of years! And I can say that it’s also stolen my heart. I’m slowly adding the style into my home — it’s classic, light and bright, inviting and it feels like home. Have you ever felt that way about your decor? I hadn’t before, but I do now.
Today I’m super excited to share this beautiful farmhouse tablescape that features the popular ticking stripes.
Farmhouse Tablescape with Ticking Stripes
I remember talking with a friend last year and she mentioned that she had always known and loved the farmhouse, french country decor style (since she was a child). Wowzer! My decor style has changed over the years and I expect that if it changes that much, you haven’t found it yet. That’s just my two cents.
However, I feel like I’m finding the style that feels right and I’m incorporating more and more into my every day life too.
I’m currently obsessed with ticking stripes too! So, when I saw these beautiful reversible ticking placemats at HeritageLace.com, I knew they could be the shining stars of a farmhouse tablescape.
Seriously, my dining room table is raw wood, so it makes for a very rustic backdrop. Heritage Lace also had these reversible napkin rings. Those buttons are darling, right?
After pairing the placemats with the napkins rings and these napkins, the ensemble is complete. I chose the blue color; however, they offer these pieces in red and khaki/beige too. I’d love to get the red for Christmas (ooh la la).
Are you falling in love yet? I was giddy when these items arrived and couldn’t wait to put them to use. The table turned out just as I imagined it would.
Some of the fondest memories are made
when gathered around the table…
Do you use mason jars as glasses? I’ve swapped out most of my glasses for mason jars now. I love their simplicity and they’re probably much cheaper than most drinking glasses. The quilted jelly jars are so incredibly charming to me.
Now, let’s talk about that wooden bowl the salad is being served in. Swoon!
Isn’t that gorgeous? And, yes, it’s food safe! I love the imperfections and the variations of the grain and color too. Made using mango wood, no two pieces are alike.
These are just a few of the farmhouse pieces Heritage Lace carries, so be sure to swing by and browse their site! I’m certain you’ll find something to love.
