I’m cutting it close this year, but I really wanted to share my Easter Tablescape with all of you… I hope you don’t mind {smile}. Last year I squeezed in two Easter and Spring Tablescapes because I’m not always such a good planner on my tablescapes {hee-hee}.  Oh well.  I’m  blazing a trail on my journey of good intentions!

This year I went with a simple and colorful theme.    I’m not a big fan of pastels, unless they are muted.  However, I’m trying to embrace color…  and I knew I wanted to use pom-pom flowers for my centerpiece.  The whole tablescape was pulled together using the  my new mint green plates from Ikea as the inspiration.  I’ve fallen in love with the simplicity of this layout and it kinda makes me smile.  I hope you enjoy!

easter tablescapeAwhile back, I did a pom pom {love} post and shared my absolute favorite crafting gadget ever,  the small and large pom pom makers.  They are fabulous and so super easy to use.  I made all different sizes for my centerpiece and used floral stem wire for the stems, allowing me to vary the lengths and arrange as if they were real flowers.  I used an over sized glass I had from Home Goods for the vase.

tablescapeFor the charger/place-mat, I used a 12×12 piece of a thicker kraft scrapbook cardstock from Micheal’s (yep! scrapbook paper) and opted for cute and colorful paper napkins over cloth this year.  And if you visit the blog on occasion, you might have seen these bunny favors I shared amongst my Easter and Spring projects.  I adore these cuties because they’re so easy to make and they make the perfect favor for your guests to take home.  Mine are filled with chocolate M&Ms.  Yum!

easter bunny favorsI used one of the paper napkins and a paper doily as a part of the centerpiece as well.  I thought it would help to pull all the yellow together.  Overall, it’s fun, bright, simple and eclectic.

pom pom flowersWhat did you do for your Easter tablescape this year?
Now I need to figure out what’s going on the menu!
Wishing all of you Happy and blessed Easter!

I’ll be partying {here and here}.

I agree with Cheryl – those mint plates – LOVE, and I must invest in a pom pom gadget because your center piece is adorable. I am hosting a Welcome to the World baby shower and have NOTHING done for it yet. Thinking those would be adorable.
