TGIF!  Today, I’d like to share five cheerful thoughts.  I’m going to post them in the form of quotes, which (in case you already didn’t know) happen to be one of my all time fave things, especially the ones that make you yell, “Amen” or “Oooh, now that’s good.”  {big cheesy grin}  Warning:  I’m not sure that these will have that effect on you, but they’re cute and happy!  I bought this teeny-tiny book/booklet at the Anthropologie store in Montclair, NJ called Cheerful Thoughts (for the Robust, the Ragged, and the Recuperating).  I couldn’t pass it up and Anthropologie is an incredibly cool store, with lots of fun little cha-chee things to ooh and aww over.  Anywho, this little book/booklet was one of my finds… and these cheerful thoughts were found inside:

Give a little love to a child, and you get a great deal back. (John Ruskin)

The greatest pleasure in life is doing what people say you cannot do. (Walter Bagehot)

Make yourself necessary to somebody. (Ralph Waldo Emerson)

After the coffee things ain’t so bad. (Henry Herbert Knibbs)

There is not duty we underrate so much as the duty of being happy. (Robert Louis Stevenson)

Cheerful? Happy?  Pass it on!
keep living and laughing, friends.
