@5:15 a.m. – Rise and Shine.  I’m currently not working, but this year my hubby changed his shift from 8 a.m to 5 p.m. to 6 a.m. to 3 p.m.  We like to read a devotion and pray together each morning, soooo…  I get up with him. What a good wife I am {cheesy grin}.

@5:30 a.m. – Grab that morning coffee fuel that I so desperately need.  “The best part of waking up is Folgers in your cup!!”  {I know, I’m quite the dork}.  I whip together a lunch for the hubs and then take a seat to read, pray and sip on that coffee fuel that is slowly creeping into my veins/system.
@5:45 a.m. – Goodbyes.  Hugs. Kisses.  The dogs and I stand at the door and watch hubby/dad drive off.  It really must be quite the sight from the other side of the street.  I then take a walk through the downstairs to do some tidying up…  this is thee quietest part of my day.  The dogs seem to find a quiet spot and go back to sleep {pure bliss, because I have one of the yappiest dogs on the planet; however, I love him dearly}.
@6:15 a.m. – Computer time! I check e-mail, Facebook, and our banking (okay, okay, I may squeeze some ‘pinning’ in too).  I sometimes draft a blog or two as well.  Since I’m looking to go back to work full-time, this is usually the time I take a peek as to what new jobs might have been posted and take the necessary action — apply, laugh out loud or cry.  The job hunt will soon have a post all of its own…  {sigh}
@8:00 a.m.  – Feed the dogs.  Bribe the dogs with soft dog food, mozzarella cheese or whatever it takes to get them to eat.  They’ve decided that hard food just doesn’t cut it.  Can you say spoiled?  Guilty as charged.
Anywho, that’s a typical Monday through Friday morning in my world.  Do some mornings play out a little differently?  Of course!!  Lately, the hubby has been working from home on Thursdays…  I take advantage of that and sleep in.  Holla!
I don’t know how long the mornings will continue to play out like this.  I anticipate them changing sooner than later, but for the time being this is how I roll.  I certainly can’t complain. After 8 a.m., the day is pretty much unpredictable.  I do know one thing — they’re rarely boring.

TGIF, Friends!  Have a great weekend…
keep living and laughing, friends.
