Happy hellos from my little corner of the world to yours! I’m tickled silly you’re here. Let’s do a little chit-chatting, shall we?
Miscellany:
1. Finally, a Break in the Heat
Friends, I think fall may have finally gotten the memo. 🙌
After what felt like an endless stretch of heat, we’ve had some beautifully cool mornings this week — temperatures in the 70s, fresh air, and the kind of weather that practically begs you to get outside.
Needless to say, the dogs and I have taken full advantage of it. We’ve gotten lots of walks in, and it has been wonderful. There’s just something about a cool morning walk that makes everything feel a little lighter.
I’m not ready to pull out the sweaters just yet, but this is definitely progress. Ha!
2. The Calamity Club
I finished The Calamity Club this week, and I absolutely loved it.
I had seen several people say they didn’t want the book to end, and now I completely understand what they meant. I felt exactly the same way.
The characters, the friendships, the storyline — it was just such an enjoyable read. I found myself wanting to stay in their world a little longer, which is always the sign of a good book, right?
Definitely a thumbs-up from me.
3. Back to Therapy
After a three month hiatus, I finally got a therapy session back on the calendar this week.
And goodness gracious, it was needed.
Sometimes you just need a safe place to sit down and talk through the good, the bad, and the ugly of life. Because no matter how pretty things might look from the outside, none of us are living in a perfect little world.
Life has beautiful seasons, frustrating seasons, confusing seasons, and everything in between. Taking an hour to sort through some of those things felt really good.
I walked away feeling grateful that I made the appointment — and I felt a little lighter too.
4. These Are the Ordinary Days
Speaking of everyday life, I shared a new post this week called These Ordinary Days Will Be the Good Old Days.
It’s something that has been on my heart lately — this reminder that the days we sometimes rush through or consider ordinary may very well be the days we look back on someday and miss.
The morning coffee. Walking the dogs. Dinner at home. Conversations with people we love. The seemingly insignificant pieces of everyday life.
Sometimes the ordinary is actually pretty extraordinary.

5. A Little Reminder I Needed
I came across this quote recently and immediately saved it:
“Just because someone sends you guilt doesn’t mean you have to accept delivery.”
— Lori Gottlieb, psychotherapist
Whew.
That’ll preach, won’t it?
I think sometimes we carry guilt simply because someone hands it to us — whether it actually belongs to us or not. That little reminder was one I needed, so I thought maybe someone else might need it too.
6. Are You Watching The Traitors?
Okay, I’m curious… are any of you watching The Traitors?
I had never watched it before, but I follow Morgan on Instagram, and since she’s on this season, curiosity finally got the best of me.
So I started watching.
And… I’m really enjoying it!
The whole concept is so clever — the Traitors, the Faithfuls, the strategy, the suspicion, and even calling the eliminations “murders.” It feels like someone really sat down and thought through every little detail of the show.
Will I go back and watch every season? I’m not making any promises. Ha! But for now, I’m hooked.
If you watch it too, tell me what you think!
7. My Yahoo Inbox Was Out of Control
Okay, this one is a little embarrassing.
For quite a while, I kept getting emails saying that my Yahoo account had reached its storage capacity. Naturally, I assumed they were spam or some kind of scam, so I ignored them.
Then another one came through warning that eventually I wouldn’t be able to send or receive emails.
Hmmm.
So, I decided to test it. I sent a simple email from personal Yahoo to my Live Laugh Rowe account with the subject line “Test.”
Nothing.
That’s when I knew I had a problem.
You guys, I had more than 250,000 emails sitting in that Yahoo account, dating all the way back to 2013 — and probably even earlier.
And, of course, it wasn’t as simple as clicking “Delete All.” I had to delete them in batches, figure out a workaround to get rid of more at once, and then at one point my trash folder filled up too.
It was a whole thing. 😂
But I did it!
I cleaned out enough email to get myself safely out of the Yahoo danger zone, and I am ridiculously proud of myself.
Woohoo!
I’m just hoping I never let it get anywhere close to 250,000 again. Ha!

One Last Hoorah:
I love this reminder. Not every day goes the way we hoped. We make mistakes, get discouraged, say the wrong thing, carry things longer than we should, or simply have an off day. But waking up to a new morning means we’re given another opportunity to begin again.
To try again. To choose differently. To extend grace. To be grateful. To keep going.
There’s something really beautiful about realizing that a fresh start doesn’t always have to come with a new year, a new month, or some big life change. Sometimes it simply comes with tomorrow morning.
And that really is a privilege.
