Happy hellos from a steamy Rogersville, Missouri. You can find me hunkered down indoors. Haha.

These beautiful Echinacea Coneflowers are from my parents’ backyard.
Miscellany:
1. Steve celebrated his 57th birthday on July 4th. We had the family over, along with my brother’s girlfriend, Ashly, and a dear friend of the family, Stalena. It was a nice time of celebration!
2. After 11 weeks, Nash got a groom this week. I probably waited a little too long, but with his injured paw — I wanted to be sure it wouldn’t make matters worse. He always looks like a poodle after a groom. I prefer the doodle curls, but when he gets too long, the curls are a matted mess. 🤦🏼♀️
Anywho, Nash also had a final follow-up appointment with our vet. His paw is 100% better. All is well. PRAISE THE LORD! I was so happy to get a good bill of health from Dr. Garoutte.
3. Aerie strikes again. I love all things high-waisted, and these high-waisted shorts did not disappoint. When the Monaco Blue shorts arrived, I bought the Smoked Gray. Size down. I’m a solid XL, and they were too big; the Large was perfect.
4. I’ve been on a deep cleaning and purging frenzy for the past week. I tackled my sink, drawers, and shelves in our master bath. It was a hot mess. I threw out so much stuff and put a box of makeup and hair products together for my mom and sister to dig through.
My husband said the bathroom looked bare after I was done. The counters were so full of crap that I needed to get things better organized. I have a problem with makeup. LOL. Way too much makeup — but I love it all. ❤️
Anywho, yay me!
5. Seint made a big announcement about a week and a half ago. They’re moving from a network marketing company model to an affiliate program. Nothing will change for me or my customers. This change impacted many leaders, but I hadn’t focused much on team building.
However, I have decided to start diversifying the makeup I try, use, and share. I only share products that I have bought, used, and loved. I want my community to trust me.
6. Speaking of makeup, I signed up to be an affiliate with Celesty in December. I’ve been using many of their products for seven months and have fallen in love with them—most of the products I use complement my Seint makeup, so that’s a win-win.
Here’s a list of my favorite products so far. 💄
7. Summer Glow Up No-Makeup Makeup Look. Pictured below is my go-to this summer: Supergoop Glow Screen with my Tinted Moisturizer or BB Cream. I added a little Heatwaves Bronzer for a bit of color on my cheeks.
My ride-or-die mascara is called My Amazing Lashes by WOWCOMBO Cosmetics.
Simple and natural, right?

8. In the last weekender, I mentioned we needed a new cordless vacuum. Well, we decided on the LG CordZero Cordless Stick Vacuum. It appears to be a lightweight yet powerful machine. The only thing I forgot to pay attention to when searching was whether it had a light on it. It doesn’t, but I’ll survive. We’ll see how it holds up over time. They don’t make vacuums like they used to.
9. Even Gritty People Get Discouraged. Interesting read. Have you crossed the Rubicon?
