Fall is quickly approaching, friends, and my heart is full just thinking about it. With the crisp air, cozy sweaters, and golden leaves, this season always brings me joy. To celebrate, I’m sharing a beautifully rustic and free fall printable. Inspired by Psalm 118, this printable features the timeless reminder:

Free fall printable with Psalm 118 Bible verse, rustic barn, and pumpkins — perfect autumn farmhouse decor.

“Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good.” — Psalm 118:1

It’s a simple piece of seasonal decor with a big message. Gratitude is powerful, and I wanted this artwork to capture both the beauty of fall and the hope found in scripture.

Why I Love Free Fall Printables

If you’ve been around here a while, you know I love creating and sharing free fall printables. They’re simple, meaningful, and versatile. Whether you frame them, add them to a gallery wall, or print them for a clipboard display, these little touches instantly bring a seasonal update to your decor.

Printables are also budget-friendly. You don’t need to buy new decor every season to make your space feel refreshed. Instead, a piece like this Psalm 118 artwork can add warmth and charm without spending a dime.

Inspired by Psalm 118

Fall naturally draws our hearts toward gratitude. Thanksgiving celebrations remind us to pause and reflect, but Psalm 118 is an everyday encouragement.

This verse reminds us that giving thanks isn’t limited to when life is smooth sailing. Gratitude shifts our perspective, helping us see blessings even in difficult times. The combination of scripture and rustic fall imagery makes this printable a sweet way to keep gratitude front and center in your home.

Decorating with the Psalm 118 Printable

Not sure how to use the printable? Here are a few ideas:

  • Frame It — Slip it into a rustic wooden frame for that cozy farmhouse look.

  • Add to a Gallery Wall — Pair it with family photos or seasonal art.

  • Layer with Decor — Lean it on a mantel with pumpkins, candles, or faux leaves.

  • Use in a Kitchen Vignette — Style it with mugs, hot cocoa, and a small pumpkin for autumn charm.

  • Gift It — Print and frame it as a thoughtful fall surprise for a friend or neighbor.

No matter where you place it, this scripture-based printable will instantly infuse your space with gratitude and warmth.

Two Versions for Your Home

I created two different options for you:

  1. Psalm 118 with Scripture Reference — perfect if you’d like to highlight the Bible verse in your seasonal decor.
  2. Give Thanks Without Reference — a clean, minimal option that focuses simply on the gratitude message.

Both designs feature a barn sketch with pumpkins—warm, cozy, and very farmhouse chic. You can choose the version that best fits your decorating style. Some of you may want to display scripture in your living room, while others might prefer something subtle for the kitchen or entryway.

A Weekend of Fall Inspiration

This past weekend, I visited one of my favorite home decor boutiques with my mom and sister. They were hosting a Fall Open House, and oh my goodness, it was bursting with seasonal goodness! Inspiration was everywhere—pumpkins, wreaths, cozy blankets, and the smell of cinnamon in the air.

That day, I spotted a rustic picture featuring a barn and pumpkins. It immediately made me think, “I could create something like that in my own style.” So, I went home and sketched out this printable. Sometimes inspiration shows up in the most unexpected places, and I love that I can translate it into something to share with you.

Gratitude and the Season of Thanks

Fall is my favorite season for many reasons: the cooler weather, the changing leaves, the cozy decor, and, of course, the pumpkins! But even more than that, I love that fall ushers in the season of thanks.

Life may not always feel perfect, but there’s always something to be thankful for—family, friends, a roof over your head, a warm meal, a reliable car, or even the furry pets that brighten our days.

Psalm 118:1 captures this truth beautifully. Gratitude doesn’t erase challenges, but it reshapes how we see them. When we pause to give thanks, even for the small things, joy and peace find a way in.

Closer Look at the Art

This printable features a sketched barn surrounded by pumpkins, designed to reflect the rustic simplicity of fall. Barns remind me of stability and tradition, while pumpkin patches symbolize the bounty and warmth of the season.

Together, they create a scene that feels like a hug from autumn itself—calm, cozy, and hopeful. Add in the scripture, and it becomes a piece that not only decorates but also inspires.
