Hello Summer! While summer may not be my favorite season, I do have to embrace it and I might as well embrace it in style, right? So, today I’m sharing some fabulous Summer Fashion Ideas.
If you’re new around here, you might not know that I love comfortable clothing and if I could pick my favorite style it would be boho/bohemian. That is my all time fave! However, I work from home, so yoga pants, sweatshirts, t-shirts and cotton shorts seem to be the most popular items in my closet. When it is time to head out for lunch with friends, shopping or a date night, I do like to look cute though. So, I pulled together a few polyvore boards that resemble a number of pieces already in my closet (or very similar). Ready to take peek?

I have a darker gray romper similar to this one that I got at Target. I love it and wear it around the house and to run errands or the grocery store. It’s so incredibly comfortable and the denim shirt makes a great pairing. Layering is a fave of mine and allows for options. And don’t even get me started on these slip-on Converse sneakers. I love them so — and would you believe they’re my first pair?

A denim shirt dress is perfectly comfortable. I purchased mine last year and have put it to good use at conferences. People laugh at me because I always say that summer dresses are “airy” — but they are, I’m always more comfortable and cooler in a summer dress. I love this outfit! Paired with a couple of my (many) Alex and Ani bracelets and my favorite scent, Happy by Clinique, I’m ready for meetings, conferences or church!

Oh sweet summer! This outfit can be so incredibly versatile. Add a wedge and cardigan for your night look too! I think that black can make an outfit feel a little more dressed up. Wear a little gold for some bling and grab your black bag, because you’re ready to paint the town red (day or night)!

Boho style makes my heart sing! I have a couple boho shirts, but I ‘need’ more {giggle}. This outfit is 100% my style and perfect for a little shopping, lunch with the girlfriends or a trip to the zoo. Fashionably comfortable!

Confession. I don’t have any of these pieces, but it’s swoon worthy, right? Oh wait, I lied, I do have the O.P.I. Nail Polish (it happens to be one of my favorites). Hee-hee. I guess I tend to lean to the natural look, nothing too showy. Anywho, I adore this outfit and I think it would be a head turner! {wink}
