Sooo, I {love} accessorizing, meaning I have a lot of  jewelry, along with too many purses, scarves, shoes, etc.  Yep, I’m one of those girls who buys lots of accessories (bracelets, necklaces and an occasional pair of earrings) that I probably don’t need, but I just have to have {giggle}.  Do you feel me?  I know you can relate!!  If our husbands were here, they would be nodding their heads in agreement or shaking their heads in complete disgust.  Yup!

When I was working on our Our Bathroom Oasis under $100 project, we had this hand towel holder that wasn’t being utilized.  I was going to throw it in the Goodwill pile until I had an ever so brilliant idea — “this would make a great jewelry organizer!” I’m sure a gazillion other people have thought of this, but I wanted to share my exciting revelation {hee-hee}.  I was telling my sister about it and she was like, “You should totally blog about that!  I wouldn’t have thought to do that… and I want one!”  I thought, what the heck, why not?  And here we are.

I was excited to re-use and re-purpose this hand towel holder and find yet another way to help organize my ungodly amount of jewelry.  Better yet, there’s really no how-to or step by step… just a picture to show it in use.

Towel Holder to Jewelry Organizer with livelaughrowe.comWhat do you think?  Easy and functional, right?  You can’t beat that!

Jewelry Organizer and more with livelaughrowe.comSince I was sharing this re-purposed jewelry organizer, I thought I would remind you of my DIY Jewelry Holders tutorial.  They’re super inexpensive and can be made to match your current color scheme and/or decor.  Win-win!

Great idea, really need to organize my jewelry. It’s mostly in drawer so I forget to wear most of it. I have some narrow boards think I’ll turn them horizontally after I paint them, put hooks or knobs on them and get my “stuff” out so I can wear it.
Then I have to go somewhere so I can wear it, lol. We’re two seniors who don’t go much, trying to live on SS these day is not a walk in the park.
Hope you have a great weekend.

Such a cute idea – I bet those are a dime a dozen at thrift stores too (unless I want one, of course… lol) so I’ll have to keep an eye out! Pinning and have a great weekend!

Love this Kelly, I have so many long necklaces right now and I haven’t found a good way to store them yet. So them are crumbled up in my jewelery case. 🙁 no bueno… totally going to do this. Plus its cute! Thanks for sharing at Show Stopper Saturdays!
