Happy What I Wore Wednesday!
Today I’m getting on a plane and heading to SNAP!
Oh my glorious goodness — can you say excited?!?
As some of you may know, I was recently home in New Jersey visiting with my parents. On Sunday, I got all dressed up for church {giggle}. The usual church attire for me is jeans, being that we attend a church that has a very casual dress code. Our pastor even wears jeans. So, this What I Wore Wednesday is a little different than the norm and if you follow me on Instagram, you may have already gotten a peek at the dress.
Here’s a funny, random and useless piece of information for you. I bought this dress for one of the Blissdom parties. However, I decided not to attend any of the parties (I know, party-pooper). I was so incredibly exhausted at the end of each day, that I seriously just wanted to go back to my room and rest. I loved this dress too much to return it and church seemed to be the way to justify keeping it. However, I think it will also make a great date night dress when the hubs and I go out for a nice dinner or something.
Here I am with my parents — aren’t they the cutest? I {love} these two more than they’ll ever know and what a fabulously exhausting visit we had together. They seriously took us ALL over NYC and NJ. Good people! 43, Mom and Dad!
If I had to be perfectly honest with all of you — I’m so unhappy with how I look right now, that taking a full length pick of myself (aside from my magic mirror) was not an easy thing to do. *sigh* My sister took it for me and sent it to me saying, USE IT. HA! She knows me so well. Below is me sporting my dress and a pick with the twinkie and I. The one of us was taken on an iPhone, so pardon any lighting/clarity issues.

The dress is very flattering! You are a gorgeous woman!….. but I totally get where you are coming from about not being happy with the way you look right now. I’m at that place myself …my youngest daughter will be getting married in September and trying on dresses for that is like torture. Have fun at Snap!
