And the crowds go wild because it’s WEDNESDAY!
What does that mean?  It’s Fashionista time.

Welcome to What I Wore Wednesday.
Big Necklace and Hot Wedges Edition.

I thought I would share a headshot of me in my outfit from my itouch this week.
The headless WIWW shots are a bit frustrating, but the full body doesn’t work for me,
maybe it’s the lens I’m using.  I don’t know…  for now, the headless works.  LOL!

Now for the expected headless shots {giggle}.

Shirt:  Target
Jeans: Hand me down=Free
Necklace:  J.Crew Knockoff  (bought on ebay)
Brown Wedges: Target
Bracelet: Lia Sophia

Now I thought I’d share some of my own personal fashion rules/preferences.  When I wear big necklaces, little earring are a must.   I don’t think I’ve ever worn a necklace this big before, but I kinda fell in {love} with it.  I saw this bubble necklace in a few other blog posts earlier this year and waited for the right price.  Mine came all the way from China, lol.  I think it was in the $15-20 range.  A steal-ee-0h!  It’s a pretty nice piece of jewelry for being a knock-off.

Here is the original J. Crew necklace:

I also kept a look out for the perfect shirt to wear it with — and struck gold with this one at Target for $17.99.  I knew the turquoise would look fabulous with royal blue.  Flowy blouses like this look pretty rad with skinny pants/capris.  I actually forgot I had these in my closet and I was tickled silly to see the zippers on the bottom too.  They seemed to add just a little extra fun and flair.

When I wear gold — all the jewelry has to be gold.  When I wear silver, all the jewelry has to be silver.  I’ve broken this personal rule of mine on occasion, but I tend to stand by this fairly well.  Do you know what kills me??  My wedding rings are silver — that is thee only exception to the rule. Unless, of course, I can convince my hubby to be buy me another set in gold.  Hmmm… {giggle}

I am also uber particular as to whether a heel/wedge is appropriate for a particular pair of pants, capris, shorts, etc.  Call me crazy, but I don’t think flats can be worn with anything and the same goes for heels/wedges.  Again, these are my PERSONAL preferences.  We should all wear what we want and how we want, that’s what makes our individual style so unique.  Right?

So, what are some of your personal fashion rules?
Please do share! I’d {love} to hear.

I’ll be linking up over at WIWW with The Pleated Poppy.

Love the Target top – with the color blocking! Is that a recent or past purchase? BTW I painted my nails last week and have had plum purple fingernails all week – much to my tweens’ delight LOL (I think it looks terrible!)

Hi Karen!! That shirt is a recent purchase — within the last couple of weeks 🙂 HURRY! You go girl, wearing plum purple nail polish. I’m sure it looks great, we’re always our worst critics. Have a fabulous day! Cheers!

I absolutely agree about the big necklace/little earring rule. And no Crocs. Ever.
