Who doesn’t love to par-tay? Whether it’s big or small, expensive or inexpensive — parties are just fun! And when you really enjoy being the hostess with the mostess, they’re even more fun. I had a blast pulling this mini spring fling together. All parties (like design) start with inspiration. Mine started with these little kits I purchased from The Plaid Barn. They screamed Spring {smile}.
From there it was just ensuring I had a vision and a budget. What did I want to do? How did I want to do it? How much was I willing to spend? I knew I didn’t want formal invites — a few word of mouth invites worked for me. I also knew that I wanted it to be small, somewhat inexpensive and have some vintage flair. A dessert bar was more or less what I was looking for as well. From there I kept my eyes peeled for the perfect finds… and boy did I find some of them. I think I may have nailed it.
