I am so indecisive about the look of my blog {grrr}. Indecisiveness is just one big pain in the butt!!  I apologize if every time you visit here you see a different look, I guess I’m going through a blogging-kind-of crisis.  I’m not prepared to pay for someone to design something for me, so I’m teaching myself a ton on html, Adobe Photoshop, making buttons, and just about everything in between. Not to mention my incredibly awesome husband who seems to know a great deal of html, something I never knew.  I think this might just be the look I was hoping for (at least for 2012).  My sister shared this avatar with me years ago and I’ve used it to print on a ton of cards since then, but  this past year I revisited my love for this avatar and, well, it all started with this button….

I created it for an ad swap and kind of fell in love with the look.  I really want my blog to be clean, airy, inviting and a sneak peak at who I am {which is fun, by the way}.  My last banner (see below) was just too muddy and getting the whole blog to mesh seemed very difficult impossible!

However,  every time I sat down and tried to put my thoughts together on a new look, I felt it had to meet the readers needs.  Is the look of the blog super duper important to the reader? I don’t know.  There has to be something we’re all looking for.  As much as I {heart} all of you — I felt the look also needed to be a reflection of me.  Anywho.  Enough babble.  Here we are.  Hopefully the new-airy-fun-inviting look I was looking for.  What do you think???  See, yet again, I seek your approval!  {giggle}.  Thanks for bearing with me!  TGIF.

Love, Love, LOVE the new look! I, too, am going through a blog identity crisis. I have a total new vision for my blog, complete with a new idea for look, etc. However, I am finding no time to actually post these days…let alone give myself a crash course on html and Photoshop! Also not willing to pay someone to design it, but want it to look like I did! 😉

You've done an amazing job, Kel! We need to get together soon, catch up and talk blogs! 🙂

Looks really nice, Kel. You did a great job – as usual. I've already told you that, but I need to make it public. 🙂

I am new here, but I have to say I'm a big fan of the look you have right now. It's very clean, not busy or cluttered, but there is a lot here. I also am way too cheap to pay someone to do something that I can [learn to] do myself. 🙂

I'm really liking your new blog look. I think you hit the nail on the head when you said you were going for fresh, clean, airy. The look of your blog should reflect the blogger and if you're comfy with it, that's all that should matter. Typically, if people like you, they'll like the look of your blog!

I'm new too, but the blog is fresh, fun, and personal. It drew me in from the banner. I love it.
