First and foremost — thanks for being here!  It’s party time.  Woo-Hoo.  Secondly, I wanted to give you a quick update on my sweet Parker.  Thankfully, he’s back home and doing well.  He’s still on a number of meds, so time will tell.  THANK YOU for all your kind words, warm thoughts and prayers…  I can assure you that we truly appreciated all of them.

Question.  Are any of you getting some relief from the heat?  HOLY. COW.  It is still so hot and humid here…  the high today was like 89-90 and the humidity was off the charts (like 70%).   Ironically,  I was out photographing my front porch for a fall front porch post next week.  That just makes me chuckle…  I was dripping and I’m sure my neighbors thought I was a little on the crazy side as I was pulling corn husks out of my car, etc.

Maybe I’m just a little slap happy from complete exhaustion too.  Hahahahahaha!  Anywho, I didn’t get a chance to round up features, so I’m showing off the readers choice and my pick for the week.  Drum roll please….

Kelly, I’m totally cracking up at you pulling out corn husks in the middle of the sweltering heat. Pretty such my neighbors think I’m nuts too! Peighton’s neighbor friend came over and said, “Why do you have so many pumpkins out? It’s not even close to Halloween.” Oh little darling… there are these people called bloggers 🙂 Thanks for hosting!!

HAHA! Right? I couldn’t find ANY pumpkins or corn husks — until today, so I was hustling. Thank goodness bloggers can relate. Thanks for partying with us. HUGS to you, friend!!!

I am so happy that Parker is on the mend. 🙂 We finally dropped to 97 degrees here in AZ, but at least we don’t have humidity…I can’t stand humidity!! Have a wonderful weekend, Kelly.
