A day late, I know, but I trust that each of you had a blessed Easter. There is something about this holiday weekend that allows for reflection and a gratitude that is hard to put into words. I’m so thankful for the sacrifice made on the cross for me (and you). Such selflessness was portrayed on that day so many years ago. Steve and I attended early service. Our pastor has been doing a series on The Lion at church and using clips from the The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe. This Sunday the clip showed Aslans resurrection from the dead — made me want to see the movie again (and soon). Powerful scene and illustration. Great service!!
We returned home to get the ham tucked away into the oven and the potatoes peeled. It was Steve, Kristine (my sister), myself and our furry four legged friends. Whether it’s three, twelve, or twenty — I always go all out. I make enough food to feed an army and ‘dress’ up the table appropriately to fit the holiday. Of course we all ate till we were overly full, but that’s what these occasions are for, right?!? {giggle}
While it is a time for candy, yummy dinners and easter egg hunts — I pray we never forget the true meaning behind Easter. He is Risen!!

Thank you for the price You paid”

It was a GREAT day. Great food, and great company. Thanks for always making things feel more like an occasion then just a meal.
