As much as I love fall season — there may be a small part of it that doesn’t make my heart go pitter patter. Wait for it… fall cleaning. {sigh} Actually, cleaning in general isn’t usually at the top of my list, but somebody’s got to do it. Right? I’m not the type to hire help, I just know I’d find a million reasons why I should have just done it myself {hee-hee}. So it’s DIY Fall Cleaning time around the Rowes. I decided to tackle some of the windows, windowsills and our sliding glass door a few weekends ago. With the help of my pal Mr. Clean — we got the job done in a jiffy!
Mr. Clean Magic Eraser ( I used the Handy Grip Outdoor Pro)
Mr. Clean Liquid Muscle with Lemon
Paper Towels ( I used Bounty Select-a-Size)
Bucket
We (the hubs and I) started in our front room. Those windows were extremely neglected…. embarrassing I know. I would clean the windows every now and again — but the sills themselves were in desperate need, especially since they are above the flower bed. Lots of dust and dirt. Mr. Clean to the rescue and he made it a breeze!
Parker even jumped in to check out our work!
Tell me that before and after isn’t magnificent? {hee-hee}
They really did clean up beautifully and I couldn’t have been happier.
It was then time to tackle the back sliding door!
This door is excessively used — especially with two dogs.
Can you say filthy? I dreaded this… but…. they turned out great!
Paper towels are perfect to have on-hand for the final cleanup!
I’m not sure that I could live without paper towels — HA!
There is some truth to that thought, don’t you think?

We are doing renovations to our second floor so the whole house is a wreck. I can see the end in sight and then the whole house will have to be scrubbed. I love Mr. Clean’s erasers but did not know about the handle. I will be buying one of them today. Thanks for the info.

I have a couple of odd jobs on my fall cleaning list. The cabinets under my kitchen and bathroom sinks desperately need to be cleaned out. I also want to clean my refrigerator and oven before the Thanksgiving rush as I always have dinner at our house. I can really use a fall cleaning checklist to stay on task.
