As women, we like to have cute everything! Cute clothes, cute shoes, cute purses and it doesn’t’ stop with our closet. You know I’m right! {hee-hee}. We even like cute desk accessories. Right? I do and it’s even better if I can grab them on the go. Recently I received some of the Duck Brand® Deco Laminate Adhesive. The Wallflower print had a fun retro 70’s vibe to it. So, I whipped up some DIY Desk Accessories using some things I had around the house!

DIY Desk Accessories with Deco Adhesive Laminate at livelaughrowe.comDIY DESK ACCESSORIES

I’m primarily going to show you how I made the paper clip and rubber band storage boxes. With the some of the fun laminate adhesive, empty matchboxes, and a little label . If your ready, let’s create these cuties!

Supplies:
Scissors or X-ACTO Knife
Empty Matchboxes
Deco Laminate
Glue Stick
White Paper

Covering match boxes with Deco Adhesive LaminateOne:
Grab your supplies (listed above)

Two:
Cut a piece of the laminate adhesive a bit bigger than the match box.

Three:
Now we simply peel and stick. Peel the backing off and wrap it around the matchbox.

Four:
Use an X-ACTO knife or scissors to trim the sides. Last but not least, print off the words Paper Clips and Rubber Bands in font of choice and use your glue stick to apply to the matchboxes. You’re done!

Perfectly cute and organized. I love that I can grab these on the go too — for traveling, meetings, etc.  Add a little extra charm to the cover of a journal or photo album.

I removed the cover from this one, placed a sheet of the Deco Adhesive Laminate over the top and used an X-ACTO trim the sides and cut out the opening for the front page of the album. It was so incredibly easy and turned out fantastic!

Crafting Fun with Deco Adhesive Laminate with livelaughrowe.comNow we’re set to be a little more organized and the accessories are all kinds of cute! Happy Crafting! What DIY desk accessories would you make?
