Hello, Live Laugh Rowe readers! I’m April from House by Hoff, and I’m so honored to be here today sharing an easy Valentine bunting banner with you!
My four-year old daughter and I love to make seasonal crafts together, and I had her in mind when I purchased the supplies (all from Michael’s) for this Valentine bunting banner. I wanted a Valentine craft that would be easy enough for her to create without too much of my help (she tends to get a little indignant when I try to help her), and that wouldn’t make a big mess.
Supplies for Easy Valentine Bunting Banner:
Burlap Pennants
Bakers Twine
Sequin Heart Stickers (or embellishment of choice)
Miniature Clothespins
Making this Valentine bunting was as easy as it appears! I peeled the sequin hearts carefully, and then handed them off to my daughter to place on each burlap pennant. She was careful to center each one before giving it a good pat. These sequin hearts were plenty sticky, and I’m not worried about them coming off of the little pennants.
This was actually a great craft to do with a four-year old. I asked her to count each pennant then count out the right amount of hearts. We also put them in a pattern (which you can’t really tell from the pictures). I’m a teacher, so I can hardly help myself from turning everything into a learning experience…ha! 😉
We clipped the pennants onto this baker’s twine, and our Easy Valentine Bunting Banner was complete! We hung it in her bedroom over her bed, and she loves to look at it sparkle!
I hope you enjoyed this super-easy tutorial! If a craft isn’t easy and quick, then I probably won’t do it! If you like this easy Valentine bunting, then you may like some of my past Valentine projects:
