This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Groupon Gift Shop for IZEA. All opinions are 100% mine.
I’m back today with the last post in the fabulous Creative Holiday Gift Ideas series. Today I’m sharing a date night that I’ve already gifted to the hubs! Date nights are often few and far between, so dinner and a movie sounded like a great idea! By now you know I’m a big fan of Groupon and that’s where I headed to find a spot for us to go… he LOVES Greek food and I was tickled silly to discover Momos Ouzaria Taverna.
How did I gift it? I kept it pretty simple, but presentation is always important to me.
Supplies:
Date Night Coupon
Printed Groupon
Envelope
Movie
Kraft Paper
Ribbon
I started by wrapping the movie in kraft paper — I absolutely adore wrapping gifts in kraft paper, there are a gazillion possibilities as to how you can add a little flare! Right?
I designed a quick coupon and gifted the dinner Groupon in an envelope — and matched it with a movie that stayed within the greek theme. Can you guess what the movie was? Wait for it… Yep, My Big Fat Greek Wedding. I’m kind of a dork like that, but it’s fun — right?
Below you can see my date night coupon and the movie!
And we were off to Momos Ouzaria Taverna.
What a fabulous spot too! We got a table by the fire.
And enjoyed some incredible gyros!! Oh my goodness…
The atmosphere was relaxing and festive!
But the best part? Spending time with this guy…
I love him so! We had a fantastic time laughing,
eating too much and planning a return trip (yes, it was that good).
The possibilities with Groupon are endless! I hope this mini series has encouraged you to give the gift of Groupon — gift an experience that your friends and family will love! I have some more Christmas shopping to do and I’m headed to see what else Groupon has in the area…. care to join me? Happy Holiday to you and yours!
Care to stay in the loop? I’d love to have you!

First, your gift presentation is fabulous! I wouldn’t even unwrap that gift…I’d just keep it on my desk and look at it. Second….I want those gyros, NOW, hand them over and no one gets hurt 😉 I really need to plan something like this with my husband. We haven’t had a date night in ages. Such a wonderful idea.

This is just lovely, Kelly! My favorite date nights are always the ones at home, snuggled up on the couch, with a movie!
