Could you please confirm that the Jell-O is dissolved in only 1/4 cup of hot water? Is it supposed to make a very thick layer of gelatinous substance? After I dissolved, I went to add the yogurt and cool whip to the Jell-O and it just made a thick layer of Jell-O that stuck to the bottom of my bowl. I ended up picking the Jell-O out because it was coming off in skin-like chunks.

When I worked at a retirement home I made up a pie much like this one. The residents were complaining about the food. I made up the whipped cream. (It came in a powder). I put the orange jello and cold milk. Vanilla. Put it in a graham cracker crust and put in the fridge.
The residents loved it. I made it with strawberry also.

In reply to <a href="https://livelaughrowe.com/creamsicle-pie/#comment-103971">Joyce</a>.

Hi Joyce. I think it does, but you can try refrigerating it to see if it works. I haven't tried it, so I can't say for sure. Wish I could be of more help. Let me know :)
