I love zucchini bread and this photo looks delicious, Kelly! Yum. My husband, an avid and outspoken zucchini hater even loves this bread. Let's face it, it tastes more like yummy spice cake than veggies. Thanks for sharing your recipe!

I can almost smell that bread. I certainly agree about certain smells leaving us with distinct memories. It's great you had the ingredients at hand to make your zucchini bread for your parents, lucky them.
When I was quite young (before we left Cleveland), My Mother and I would take the street car downtown to a certain Jewish bakery to get their bread, oh the smells, I still love Jewish Rye bread, heated up with butter. Oh me I'll never be skinny. Can close my eyes and picture in my mind how our little kitchen nook seating looked where we ate the bread. Was a special treat when we got home if I'd been good on the street car.
Also an Aunt that lived in Akron made bread every day and when we'd go visit her house would have that fragrance. I always associated the smell of bread with that Aunt.
I'll pin the recipe so I can print it out. Happy week
