In the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with the dough attachment, combine flour with the instant yeast, salt, and sugar.
Add the milk, butter, and eggs. Knead for approximately 6 minutes, until the dough is soft and elastic. Transfer the dough to a bowl and cover with a towel or cloth. Let it rise for 1 hour.
In a separate bowl, combine the ingredients of the herbed butter until creamy and incorporated. Set aside.
Grease a loaf pan and set it aside.
Transfer the dough to a floured surface and divide the dough into four even pieces. With the help of a rolling pin, roll out each piece until you get a large rectangle, around 12x8 inches.
Spread a generous layer of herbed butter on top and cut into five to six smaller rectangles. Place them on top of each other.
Transfer stack of rectangles into prepared loaf pan. Repeat the previous step with the rest of the dough.
Cover with a towel or cloth and let the dough rise for 20 minutes.
Preheat oven to 350ยบ F. Place loaf pan in the oven and bake for 45 to 50 minutes or until golden brown.
Notes
While delicious as is, feel free to add some chopped parsley and pepper.
