In a bowl combine the olive oil with the lemon juice, paprika, garlic powder, chili powder (optional), salt, and pepper.
Add the shrimp and toss to combine so the shrimp is well coated with the marinade. Let it marinate for approximately 5 minutes.
Meanwhile, heat a large pan over medium-high heat. Transfer the shrimp to the pan and cook for 3 minutes per side or until done. Remove from the heat and set aside.
Avocado Crema Dressing
Place avocado, sour cream, lemon juice, garlic powder, salt, and pepper together in a bowl.
Using a fork, mix until evenly and thoroughly mixed together.
Salad Assembly
Arrange the salad mixture in a bowl.
Top with the avocado, cherry tomatoes, and zesty shrimp. Sprinkle with salt and pepper, to taste.
