These are great for any kind of decorating for holidays. I've been using some of small pine cones, sans snow, to fill in with Fall decos. I'm lucky enuf to be able to find them at a state park not far from our house. I had so many last year after holidays I gave lots of them to the thrift store. They've got them out in bags for sale now. I really prefer the smaller ones for fillers, easier to arrange them, stick into small spaces. I still have bags of them in our shed with holiday decos.
One year I had bigger cones which I put in a basket and wound lights all thru them and how pretty they were. Can be set anywhere and look so pretty with the lights glowing.
I was thinking it might be really pretty if some of the cones were dusted with German glass glitter among the other glitter. I'm going to try to find the glass glitter so I can use it myself this holiday season. Great post, glad it was shared. Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours.
