Hi Sarah. I might have felt differently without having dogs. I can't speak to the durability because I honestly didn't use it much and ended up putting my IKEA covers back on. It's a big decision and purchase -- and they are very well made. I just didn't love this fabric. Hope that helps a bit. Keep me posted!

Do you think you'd feel differently about the Kino fabric if you didn't have dogs, but did have kids? No paws but still requires some durability. Did the covers continue to look good? (About to bite the bullet but having cold feet...)

Hi Natalie. If I had to be completely honest, these covers didn't stay on very long... the kino fabric wasn't a favorite of mine and it started to pull from my dogs paws. It was kind of a bummer; however, I do think they are exceptional option -- it's a matter of finding a color and fabric you love. I hope that helps. Hugs!

Hi Emily. I don't think I would recommend this with a cat that scratches furniture. Actually, that was one of my disappointments after having them on for awhile -- this fabric did start to pull from my dogs paws. I think these covers are an exceptional option, but I wouldn't recommend the kino fabric. I hope that helps. Hugs!

Hi! I'm looking at getting some Comfort Works slip covers in a Kino fabric... does it seem as durable as they claim? (I have a cat who sometimes tries to scratch my furniture).
