Update: My whole family LOVED this!! They turned out absolutely brilliantly. Oh my goodness, it is just the right amount of everything! We added whipped cream and dark chocolate sprinkled on top as well to balance out the tart flavor of the key lime. Delicious and I think this will become a family classic!

Sounds sooo good ! I have some fresh Meyer lemons and I am wondering if I can juice them and use their juice in place of the lime ?
