I have now made over 100 of these, mostly as gifts for my children to take for their Valentine”s Day parties (4 kids x 26-32 students). i have really enjoyed doing this as both a stash buster project & as gifts. I left long tails on each one so that kids could use them as book markers or bracelets! Wish I could share pictures of the many ways I have done these. My favorites are the ones where I used crochet threads (or sock yarn) with a second dk weight yarn. One person described who they looks as “a touch of magic” due to how pretty they are. Thank you again for a fun, easy, stash busting project with many uses.
