Hi Jeanne! Usually the sessions demonstrate the project being built, while the attendees observe. At the Edwardsville location the attendees will not be building the carts, so you wouldn’t need to worry about trying to get anything but supplies home, if you decide to purchase them. Each store handles the DIH Workshops differently, but usually the attendees are responsible for purchasing their own supplies and build the project at home 🙂 Hope that helps! I didn’t realize that Home Depot did these sessions geared at women. I really wanted to sign up for the class at Edwardsville and be able to meet. However, due to logistics in trying to get something this large home after the class I’ll be going to the Florissant Home Depot. However, I have a question, do you know about what the materials cost for this will be? I’ve tried to convince a friend to go with me. She is very concerned about the materials cost. I couldn’t get a definitive answer from our local HD. When I tried doing searches some bloggers have mentioned that HD absorbed most of the costs for materials for previous classes.

I went to a DIH workshop last year with a couple of friends, and we had a blast!! Love the project y’all are making! Wish I could attend the Atlanta one with Ana, but I’ll be smack in the middle of life with a newborn by then 🙂
