I’m the team captain for the Rohnert Park Home Depot DIH workshop (and all workshops for that matter). I started to build the paver planter last weekend and followed the cut instructions exactly…guess what happened when I got to the part about paver insertion? In the real world, 12×12 pavers are not 12×12..some are 11-5/8″, some are 11-3/8″, some are 11-1/2″ on one side, but a different measurement on the other. You will have to throw out the 12″ measure on the 2×2 and measure the paver and cut the 2×2 to fit….good luck!!!! I’m going to add .75 x .75 nailers and use them as stops. Oh, and btw..those pavers can weigh 22 lbs each, so watch your back when lifting them. Let me know how your project goes.
