Baked Buffalo Wings

Super Bowl Sunday is quickly approaching… have you started to prepare your game day menu?  Finger foods always seem to be a hit — chips, pretzels, pizza, a veggie tray, wings, etc.  It’s usually just the hubs and I, so we keep the menu fairly simple — but one of our favorites is wings — and BBQ Chicken Pizza.  When it comes to wings, I prefer mine with no sauce or a bbq sauce, but the hubs is a HUGE fan of hot sauces.  Yep, he has a small collection in the cupboard.  I always say he’s a little excessive, but to each his own, right?  {giggle}  Anywho, I asked the hubby to help me in sharing this recipe, since this is one of the yummies only he makes.  They are pretty yummy and I’m wishing he’d make some right now as I’m drafting this post.  HA!

Are you read for some Baked Buffalo Wings?

Baked Buffalo Wings

Baked Buffalo Wings
  • 1 pound of chicken wings
  • 5 oz. Italian Style Bread Crumbs
  • Ziploc Bag
  • Hot Sauce
  1. Cut and prep wings, discarding the wing tips.
  2. Place bread crumbs in ziploc bag, add wings and shake.
  3. Remove wing and place on baking sheet.
  4. Bake at 450 for 20-25 minutes.
  5. Pour hot sauce of choice in bowl and coat wings.

The hubs recommended Franks Hot Sauce or Louisiana Wing Sauce.  Add a side of celery and ranch or bleu cheese dressing and you’re ready to rock and roll!   What about you?  Do you like wings?  How do you make them?

I’ll be partying {here and here}.

These sound really good. I’m a freak who doesn’t eat wings because I don’t like meat cooked on a bone (I know…weird) but my husband LOVES wings. :) I try to at least indulge him with the same flavor by making dip or little cups filled with shredded buffalo chicken.
I agree with your husband…I would use Franks! That is the only sauce I use when doing buffalo flavored anything!
